The Go-To for Your Soft Tissue

Acupuncture involves the insertion of extremely thin pins through your skin at strategic points on your body. A key component of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain.

Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force — known as Qi or Chi (CHEE) — believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting pins into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that your energy flow will re-balance.

In contrast, many Western practitioners view the acupuncture points as places to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue. Some believe that this stimulation boosts your body's natural painkillers, increases blood flow and homeostasis.

Cupping Massage

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin; practitioners believe this mobilizes blood flow in order to promote healing.[1] Suction is created using mechanical devices (hand or electrical pumps). Through either heat or suction, the skin is gently drawn upwards by creating a vacuum in a cup over the target area of the skin. The cup stays in place for five to fifteen minutes. Cupping is used to increase circulation, treat fascial restrictions, scar tissue and muscular tension. It is also used to detoxify superficial tissues of the body.

E.T.P.S. (Electro-Therapeutic Point Stimulator)

ETPS is an innovative pain relief device and a revolutionary hybrid-therapeutic modality. ETPS uses electronic transmitting pulses to break down scar tissue, trigger points, and adhesions. Through the combination of modern Western science and ancient Chinese medicine, they work hand-in-hand to provide highly effective, all-natural relief from chronic pain.

Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things ('Rei' = Universal Life, 'Ki' = Energy). It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. When this is true a person’s body and mind is in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.  A Reiki session can help ease tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional. A session is pleasant and relaxing and is often utilized for one’s personal wellness.
